Yet, the violin and show biz do not actually contradict but they are not compatible at all. And Vanessa is aside from the basic sow biz figures though she is one of the musicians acknowledged at the world level.

Oksana Fedorova - A Policewoman, TV host and just a Beauty

Thursday, 04 December 2008

Oksana FedorovaIt is hard to imagine a place that is more suitable for the birth of a real Russian beauty than ancient Pskov. And it is where in December, 1977 the future «Miss Universe» and the most popular among the manhood of Russia, the host of «Spokoynoy Nochi, Malyshi» (Good night, Kids) children's show, Oksana  Fedorova was born. Oksana was raised by her mother, a medical worker, and by grandparents. Her father, engineer - physicist left the family when Oksana was only two years old. When she grew up she tried to find her father but he had already died by that time.

Oksana lived in Pskov just to her full age. She had no doubts on her life choice since early childhood she dreamed to become a police woman, that was such an unusual dream for a girl. Inspired by her dream she entered the Police School just after graduation of the secondary school. She showed progress in her study and distinguished to the extent that she was seconded to the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Moreover, Oksana started her study not at the ordinary faculty but at the faculty of Supervisors for Municipal And Regional Departments of Internal Affairs. Oksana was awarded a Diploma with honor in the rank of senior lieutenant.

Afterwards Oksana was employed in the applied sphere of her professional activity as an investigator at the Line Department of Internal Affairs of the Pulkovo airport in St.Petersburg. However, the young girl realized that she would more enjoy scientific work instead. And consequently Fedorova started her postgraduate work at a military academy and was employed as a lecturer of civil rights at alma mater, namely Saint-Petersburg University, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. By the way, Oksana defended her Candidate's dissertation successfully and the theme thereof was assigned as «Civil and legal control of private detective and guard activity in the Russian Federation».

Yet, more curious people might inquire, quite logically on how come that the lecturer and a scientific worker participated and won at various beauty contests? As appeared, Oksana just seized the opportunity at a chance. It might sound quite surprising but it happened that at a concrete period of time Oksana experienced problems with the shape and exclusively for the sake of her figure she started attending gym club. It turned out that the gym was owned by the Shaping Federation of Petersburg that was arranging a city beauty contest that time. Yet, it would be very surprising if the shaping class organizers had not noticed such a beautiful woman and had not invited her to take part in the contest. So, Oksana accepted their offer, she participated and she won!

Awarded «Miss St.Petersburg» title in 1999, Oksana was eligible to take a part in the National Contest. She succeeded in this contest as well and in 2001 году Fedorova was awarded a title of «Miss Russia».  Afterwards in the following year Oksana let herself to the international level and presented Russia at the prestigious Beauty Contest in the world "Miss Universe".

The contest «Miss Universe-51» took place in San-Juan, the capital of Puerto-Rico in 2002. Sensation in regards to this event was very tremendous: over 600 million TV audiences observed this Day of judgment live in 176 countries of the world. Oksana competed with 75 girls to be crowned as the most beautiful and the prettiest pretty in the world each of the above was recognized as the best girl in their countries. Upon abundant serious tests and contests the jury identified the five of finalists. The five included Oksana as well as Miss Venezuela, Miss Panama, Miss China and Miss South Africa. China and Venezuela finalists won the prizes but Oksana Fedorova was awarded the first prize, the Crown of the Winner, "Miss Universe" title, various prizes of 250 thousand USD cost, a number of various contracts and the opportunity to study at New York School of Cinema and TV for two years with the scholarship and apartments in Manhattan.

Nevertheless, Oksana refused to perform numerous commercial contracts and travel along the world within a year, the fact occurred almost for the first time throughout the history of the same contest. She decided that the high title is definetley wonderful but her own life and realization of her arrogance are more important. And she decided for preparation and defense of her dissertation instead of dreaming about glamour and beautiful life. In view of the above Oksana was deprived of her high title in four months by the administration of "Miss Universe" contest which was sent to Venezuela representative.

And what happened? Oksana did well without the title «Miss Universe». She stepped into her TV carrier upon defense of her dissertation. For instance, she was a TV host of the legendary children's show «Spokoinoi Nochi, Malyshi» (Good night, Kids), a co-host of TV show on repair; she featured in various reality shows, for instance in «Dances with stars». At present Oksana accented all her professional potential and perspectives to develop TV programs for children and youth.

As for the personal life of this green-eyed beauty, all men are left behind in Russia since Oksana Fedorova married to Philippe Toft, a young Deutsch businessman on August 10, 2007.
