Son of librarian achieved many titles

Allen's parents (Faye and Kenneth Allen)
worked at library section at the University of Washington while he could get
the chance to familiar with different culture, visit museums, concerts,
galleries and so on. He got inspiration for reading especially on science
fiction novel from his parents. ‘Tom Swift series' was the best one that
attracted Allen much where he would found interest in space, rockets,
submarines and other sorts of machines. This interest later led Allen to be a

Friends become founders
Paul Allen and Bill Gates were two friends
from their school life. They jointly worked for many days with computer
technology. And finally Paul Allen in cooperation with Bill Gates set up one of
the world's most profitable and leading companies- Microsoft Corporation in
1975.
Though Allen left Microsoft in 1983 because
of illness, there is no doubt; his involvement with the company actually made

that at least 20 million US dollar is needed in each year to maintain one of
the Allen's yachts, used for cruising. Besides, different organizations and

Last two decades of 20th centuries, Allen
was actually obsessed with earning money. With a view to implementing that
motive, Allen entered into the sports and entertainment sectors. In 1988, he
established a sports and entertainment complex worth of $262 million after
buying the National Basketball Association's Portland Trailblazers. At the same
time, he bought the National Football League's Seattle Seahawks.
