changed her name for Loren at her producer insistence, Carlo Ponti, who she
married to later. As for her earnings in the cinema, that was not the major
article in her financial statement to live. The point is that Sophia Loren
ceased her acting career in the late 70s and she then accepted rare offers to
star in movies mainly in TV projects. Yet, the fabulous fees by the actress
