Face Cream for Your Skin Type

Sunday, 29 March 2009

face creamFace Cream is one of the important and much valuable skin care product. Considering the plenty of skin care products in the market, any woman will find Face Cream to match her skin type. There are four principal skin types, that is Oily, Dry, Normal and Combined.

A rare woman would love to have oily skin because of enlarged pores, greasy luster and pimples. If you have an oily skin you are recommended products regulating the activity of sebaceous glands and narrowing the pores. Nourishing and moistening products should have the highest light texture.  Better choose gel based creams. They are easily absorbed, they do not leave greasy shine and they produce matte effect instead. For oily skin the market offers creams with herbal extracts like Camomile, Calendula, Milfoil, as well as with Vitamins А и Е, additives of brimstone and zinc. If you have oily skin type, you'd better start with the drugstore first, where you are welcome to a variety of face creams by the prominent brands as Vichy, Exfoliac, Bioderma and so forth.

Dry skin often gets peeled and often seems pulled. It vigorously changes with the temperature drops; it easily cracks and grows coarse. Dry skin needs cream that intensively moistens and flourishes the skin. When choosing a cream of your type, you'd better prefer the product with more density texture but it should not be very oily. To moisten the dry skin you will need products from youth cosmetic lines, the products assigned mainly to moisten the skin. Cosmetic line Mia proved to be one of the best out of domestic cosmetic lines for youth. Dry skin is not recommended to expose for direct sun lights for longer time. It is harmful for it. So, ultraviolet filter in the cream is a must.

Normal skin is healthy, clean, elastic and without inflamed areas. Ladies with this skin type is rare. Sebaceous glands of normal skin function well, there fore it does not need intensive nutrients. If you abuse of nourishing cream, it may provoke greasy luster and pimples. However, normal skin always requires moisturizing agents that is why liquid cream of light texture is the most beneficial option. Thanks to using moisturizer your skin becomes more elastic, and it looks vivid. And it is advisable that the cream components for the dry skin contain hyaluronic acid, elastin, collagen, Vitamin А and Vitamin Е. Women enjoying normal skin are on the top of the benefits. They are welcome to apply any kind of cream, from mass produced Nivea to the trendy Estee Lauder.

If you have a combination skin, it will also bring you some troubles. It is oily on your forehead, nose, chick and it is dry on the cheeks, on the neck and round the eyes. Such a skin requires more tender care. Different means are for different skin areas. For T-zone use a moisturizer with matte effect, while use nourishing cream for dry areas. Currently many well-known brands launch special cosmetics for T-zone, and such cream is produced by Clinique, Lancome and Shiseido. Though, if the difference between dry and oily areas is not so big, anyway it is worth using good moistening products.

When choosing a cream, you have to consider the type of your skin and your age. The cosmetic products are divided in the following way in regards to the women age:

  • for teenagers and youth, up to 20 years old
  • for young skin, from  20 to 25 years old
  • for mature skin, 25 to 35 years old
  • for the skin over 35

Creams for youth allow healthy skin, nourish and flourish it. The cream for more mature women should prevent from wrinkles.

Individual features of the skin are the same important factor when choosing a face cream:

  • For example, if you once noticed that your skin easily reacts to allergens, you will be happy with creams marked «hypoallergenic».
  • As a rule, allergic reaction is caused by preserving agent, aromatizer and coloring agents.
  • Read the composition of the cosmetic means thoroughly. If the staff has agents that caused reaction with you earlier, decide against buying such staff.
  • If you have doubts in regards to the product, you are welcome to test it at the bend of elbow, and get anxious when redness or itching occurs.

To protect your skin for the whole day you should use the Day Cream as well as the Night Cream. Day Creams and Night Creams differ in components and effect, so it's better use them accordingly.

Cream is chosen in regards to the season of the year. Cream with sun protection filters are more suitable for summer time, while creams containing components to protect from wind and cold are good for winter.

Cosmetologists advise that we change our cream because of so called effect of addiction. And it is easy to explain that the skin quickly get used to the particular cream and it does not make an effect as when you just started to use it. Just choose some good cosmetic products and change them from time to time.

Bear in mind that any cream should be applied to the well cleaned skin.

Kimono – the Silky Tradition of the Oriental Nation

Kimono is the word that sounds quite awkward for the person who knows nothing of Japan an its traditions. Some people believe that kimono is the silky gown customary for the tea ceremony so typical for Oriental countries while the others consider that this is the attribute for traditional Oriental martial arts. The beliefs are not so authentic, people just guess and are right to some extent. Actually kimono is the attire, the garment which is not typical to geisha or a karateka only. Kimono is the traditional clothes of the Japanese people and it is available in variants, as different as occasions come to wear it.

Codpiece: the Essential Atavism

A codpiece (from Middle English cod meaning «scrotum») is a covering flap or pouch that attaches to the front of the crotch of men's trousers and usually accentuates the genital area. It was held closed by string ties, buttons, or other methods. In the 14th century, men's hose were two separate legs worn over linen drawers, leaving a man's genitals covered only by a layer of linen. As the century wore on and men's hemlines rose, the hose became longer and joined at the centre back but remained open at the centre front. The shortening of the cote or doublet resulted in under-disguised genitals, so the codpiece began life as a triangular piece of fabric covering the gap.

Produced by Kenzo, Japan, Flower was created by the perfumer Alberto Morillas, Spain, and "dressed" by designer Serge Mansau, France.

Radon Baths: The Healing Power of RadiationRadon Baths: The Healing Power of Radiation

Radon baths are a variety of the radon therapy, prepared using mineral waters containing radon. Radon is a colorless, odorless and tasteless radioactive gas that is formed from the naturally occurring radioactive decay of radium and uranium. The main working factor of radon are alpha rays which have an array of properties and are successfully used in the treatment of peripheral nervous system, locomotorium, vascular, gynecological and some cutaneous diseases and also post-burn complications. During radon bath, unstable products of radon decay form the so called «active fur» on the skin, and its concentration increases even with slight movements of the patient in the bath or in the basin. It consolidates its grip on one's skin firmly enough and remains on the skin for 2-3 hours. The patient, being in the bath, is exposed to radon radiation which penetrates the skin and through the lungs into the blood flow.
