Carlo Crocco so concerned and adored with his own
designer works and MDM Fund activity, was looking for a person to delegate the
authority to manage the Company. And he successfully met Jean-Claude Biver who
took over the reins of Hublot.
He was enthusiastic to develop the Company in the
future. He was one of those people really were remarkable in the history of
watch making.
Supervised by the new Chief Executive Officer Hublot
Company reconsidered its philosophy, yet Jean-Claude introduced the concept of
merging too different materials as gold and ceramics, tantalum and pink gold,
tantalum and magnum.
In addition to materials merging, the new concept
provided the merging of the Swiss traditions of watch making with the watch
art, while adhering to the unique design of Hublot watches.
In a year Jean-Claude Biver succeeded when he launched
the collection Bazel in April 2005 presenting the Big Bang by Hublot being the
wonderful merging concept. That was the triumph and there was the rise in
orders for watches. A few months later Big Bang was awarded the first
international Design Award of 2005 at Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix followed by
the Best Sport Award at the Watches of the Year Ceremony in Japan.
In June 2006 Jean- Biver launched Hublot TV the first
Internet TC Channel created by the luxury brand. The Channel makes and
announces new on Hublot world.
From then on, keeping the previous shape, it was
released in various sizes with assorted complications such as Tourbillon, Large
Date, Power Reserve Indicator, Split Seconds.
The merging concept worked at the highest possible
extent. The model was manufactured in the diameter of 4mm and 44mm. In 2007 the third version in the model line
for divers was presented, Big Bang King with 48mm case. Though, the watches sit
ideally for both thin and wide wrists.
In early 2007 Jean -Claude Biver was acknowledged as
the Best Manager in Watch making Sphere and as the Best Communicator.
In February 2007 Hublot opened its first brand store
in Paris, in Saint-Honoré Street.
In October the Company launched its first watches
manufactured by own facilities. Hublot developed the design based on the newest
alloy of aluminum and magnum, Hublonium, used in production of mechanisms and
cases for Mag Bang models! Mag Bang was awarded the
«Best Technology
Innovation
». Later on, the watches were accepted as the Best Watches by
Caesar magazine.
The Company still keeps manufacturing Classic Watches
demanded by over 30% customers. With the attempts made by Jean-Claude this
collection renewed.
In early 2008 the Company launched the first model of
Big Bang watches especially for women with the diameter of 38mm, with bazel
reinforced with diamonds, but no chronographer.
In April the owner of the Company Carlo Crocco sold it
to the French Group LVMH, the world-known leader in manufacture of luxury
goods. Hublot Company symbolizes the brand that compliments to the highest
possible extent the watch making sphere of
LVMH Group.
Hublot brand is also associated with playing golf,
polo, mountain skiing, rallies and tennis through contests and tournaments held
by those that support the brand. Prior to the Euro 2008 Championship in
Switzerland and Austria, Jean-Claude Biver first among the sponsors introduced
the trendy luxury stuff. That was the strategy of the good entrepreneur.

collections for Autumn/Winter 2010-2011 and created by fashion designers some
time ago. When setting trends for the future season, that is autumn, fashion
