Sitting Room Furniture

A sitting-room is a place which is mainly decorated and designed to meet guests. This is the place where people sit and spend the time discussing over something. The dining room is for the loud parties and feasts. The meal is taken in the dining room and guests – in the sitting room, to be stated by one of classic writers. When you can boast with the apartments of eight rooms there, this is a perfect base to follow this principle providing you have a small family. The modern flats are rather smaller, unfortunately, and the place is used for many purposes then.

Niello – Ancient Jewelry Traditions

When passing by the windows of the jewelry shop, we stop to stare at those silver items with the ornament, whether intentionally or not. The frozen ornaments are encircled with the black paint in thinnest line against the silver glass. The lock of niello is fancifully twisted to admire. The Niello technique, nowadays almost forgotten, is one of the oldest ornamenting techniques in the world. The jewelry from niello perfectly shade a gentle woman skin and those made for men emphasize the status and individual style of wearer. The silver is created with the tint of aristocratism, lavishly and worthy to come to collections of family jewels. Niello is a black metallic alloy of copper, silver, sulfur, and lead, used as an inlay on engraved metal. It can be used for filling in designs cut from metal.

Indian Sea Rice, or Zoogloea

Thursday, 18 June 2009

indian sea rice zoogloea Sea Rice, Sea Mushroom, Indian Rice, Chinese Sea Rice, Japanese Mushroom, Live Rice and «something like a frogspawn of white color», all come to one and the same tiny organism which was throughout the time practiced by folk medicine, though to the half of 19th century it was first depicted and referred to zoogloea. The public refer Sea Rice, Tea Mushroom, Tibetian Milk Mushroom to the whole class of mushrooms, though zoogloea does not present this glorious kingdom.

Use of zoogloea differs from country to country, from town to town. Some nations drink tea adding ‘something like a frogspawn of white color' and tea is said to be tasteful. They also put this stuff into the milk and drink it for its healing effect.

Zoogloea is a special state of bacterial cells when their capsules become slimy and form gelatinous structures or films. Zoogloea consists of polysaccharides, sometimes with an admixture of nitrogenous compounds. It is inherent only in some (mainly water) bacteria, particularly in the Zoogloea ramigera genus.

There are a lot of Zoogloea types in nature, however, only three of them are domesticated and studied at most. They are ‘Tibicos', ‘Kombucha' and ‘Tibetan milk mushroom'.

All three Zoogloeas are absolutely different cultures with their own features and constitutions.

The only thing combining them is a presence of acetic-acid bacteria.

So, how about the name, Indian Sea Rice? Can anybody tell what it means? Though, it can be easily explained. It is Rice because the flakes of Zoogloea resemble translucent overcooked rice grains. It is Sea Rice for it is a foreign stuff that come from overseas. It is Indian Sea Rice since the most stunning and magic thing come from India, country of magic, to the opinion of the residents of 19th century.

A drink is traditionally made from the Indian Sea Rice. The tincture has complex chemical compound. It contains alcohol, acetic and gluconic acids, caffeine, oxalic, citric, lactic and folic acids, Vitamins С and О, tannins, polysaccharides, aldehydes, choline, alkaloids, glycosides and enzymes.

The tincture of Sea Rice has a powerful therapeutic effect due to the high concentration of useful and essential agents for the organism.

Folic acid, also known as Vitamin В9, participates in metabolism and synthesis of several aminoacids, in the synthesis of nucleic acids, it stimulates hematopoietic function of the marrow and facilitates better digestion of Vitamin B12. Folic acid gives an excellent mood to you and normalizes your blood.

Gluconic acid is the most essential component for the cartilaginous tissue and joint fluid.

W-cumaric and chlorogenic acids are active antioxidants, while citric acid prevents formation of urine acid stones. Choline provokes the parasympathetic nerve, lowers the arterial pressure, reduces pulse rate and increases excitability unstriated muscles.

Tannins have astringent and antiphlogistic effect; aldehydes give the tincture some weak specific aroma. Enzymes are substances of albuminous class that present in all living cells. They conduct, regulate and accelerate biochemical processes when binding with co-enzymes.

The tincture of the Indian Sea Rice is believed to discover lipase, amylase, protease and coenzyme Q10.

Lipase is involved in breakup or formation of fat, amylase prevents high concentration of glucose in blood, whereas protease splits proteins into aminoacids, meaning they stimulate digestion of animal protein, yet, Q10 goes in the synthesis of adenosine triphosphate, ATP and has anti-oxidant action.

As it is widely practiced, people tend to find cure-all taking Zoogloea. There are people who are still in sincere belief that the Indian Sea Rice helps to cure absolutely all diseases, irrespective of severity. It is hardly true, though we need to believe in something that makes us happier.

Just consider the peculiarities of components of the tincture. They have antibacterial and immune-response modulating effect, they reduce blood pressure, they improve metabolism process, they have tonic and diuretic impact. Therefore, people tend to believe that drinking this tincture will only bring to cure from almost all diseases. No other ways to believe!

Those who sleep and dream of losing weight are advised that they drink about 300ml of such tincture a day, and the result is ensured!

It's hard to talk about contraindications since there are no serious scientific researchers are available on impact of this microorganism to a human organism. Though, it is still obvious that the tincture made from the Sea Rice is not recommended for people with diabetes milletus, people who suffer from gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer and high gastric acidity.

Men’s Muffler – a Scarf with the French Accent

Muffler is a kerchief or a scarf which seems to be uncomplicated for use though it sometimes confuses in purpose. The word coming from the French «cache-nez» means «hide your nose» which is completely unreasonable for this garment today. On the contrary, this piece of clothes proves to be the decorative element in the wardrobe in every possible way. However, this does make neither men nor women upset for not a jot, since there are far more considerable garments in volume and material to use if necessary. A muffler is a perfect complement to the elegant apparel with the hint of being aristocratic which is too essential for the business image.

Radon Baths: The Healing Power of Radiation

Radon baths are a variety of the radon therapy, prepared using mineral waters containing radon. Radon is a colorless, odorless and tasteless radioactive gas that is formed from the naturally occurring radioactive decay of radium and uranium. The main working factor of radon are alpha rays which have an array of properties and are successfully used in the treatment of peripheral nervous system, locomotorium, vascular, gynecological and some cutaneous diseases and also post-burn complications. During radon bath, unstable products of radon decay form the so called «active fur» on the skin, and its concentration increases even with slight movements of the patient in the bath or in the basin. It consolidates its grip on one's skin firmly enough and remains on the skin for 2-3 hours. The patient, being in the bath, is exposed to radon radiation which penetrates the skin and through the lungs into the blood flow.
