 Richest people are found in different
professions. John Abele is an American businessman who earned a lot of money by
doing business in medical equipment and this is the reason why his name is
enlisted under the catalog of the wealthiest persons of the world.
Simultaneously Abele holds the chief position of a medical machinery company titled
Boston Scientific Corporation involved in the activities of healthcare, medical
instruments, supplies etc.
A tragedy indeed
Abele's father Mannert Lincoln Abele was a
high-handed naval officer who served in the submarine USS Grunion. In 1941, Mannert
(Lieutenant Commander) launched the submarine with at least 70 crews. But
unfortunately he did not come back. It assumed that the submarine was sunk by
enemy action in the year of 1942.

Abele was appeared on the list of Forbes
Magazine's «world richest people» in 2005 where he took the position of 132 having
the net amount of 4 billion US dollar. According to the Forbes Magazine, Abele
secured the rank of 321st among 400 richest in America and 785th among the
world's wealthiest people in 2008.

Abele studied at Alter High School,
University of Notre Dame. He graduated from the Amherst College. Abele studied
also finance and management strategy in the Kellogg School of Business of Northwestern
University.
Abele is married and he has three children.
His home town is placed near Shelburne, VT, United States of America.
In spite of being a businessman by
profession, John Abele expends his additional time behind the coaching of
different youth sports. To incarnate word academy, John Abele volunteers his extra

In collaboration with Peter Nicholas, Abele
founded the Boston Scientific in 1979 that is very well known as clinical
device producer. This corporation was later expanded into multi devices such as
balloons, catheters, stents etc. Besides, Abele has a business partnership with
the Cleveland Office, Heidrick & Struggles.
Before joining in Heidrick & Struggles,
Abele was the leader of marketing and sales practice in the McKinsey &
Company where he spent successful eight years. He maintained the duties of supervision
of industrial office. He performed extremely good in developing corporate
growth, navigating mergers and acquisitions, making sales strategies,
transforming sales forces along with distributing channels, upgrading
marketing, utilizing technology in terms of raising growth and so on.
Abele has some interest in advising. He did
a very good job in consultancy being an official of different corporations,
firms, privately owned company etc. He helped the clients to search for their
required persons like CEO (Chief Executive Officers), GM (General Manager),
other office high-ups, office personnel in many sections etc.
John Abele's name was spread out here and
there as an efficient consultant while he was working as a senior associate
with the Andersen consulting firm. His managerial position with Hewitt
Associates LLC also added some praising words with him. In addition, Abele

holds the position of chairman.

Secrets not to share
There was a little debate about the stents
(device for keeping bodily tubes open) that manufactured in Abele's Boston
Scientific as it failed to function properly. Stents in fact appeared as a big
problem for the company.
A patent infringement case was filed
against Abele's company-Boston Scientific and that caused to fall the company's
shares down at 20 percent last several months.
Passion for «collaboration paradox»
Abele's passion is to build social
networking. He is the titleholder of that particular organization named the
Kingbridge Centre and Institute situated in Ontario. It served in special way
in the field of research in academia, business and government as well.
Abele has been trying to find out a way
where collective intelligence could give collective capability. He termed it
‘collaboration paradox'. He believes that it would be always leadership rather
to technology that team people up better.
