David Morris Jewelry

Beautiful antique jewelry often looks too traditional and even old-fashioned: it is perfect for a ball, a reception, a formal event, but sometimes you want something fresh and edgy, yet classy and traditional in a good way. This kind of jewelry is the specialty of the relatively new British jewelry brand David Morris. It offers jewelry fit not for the costume dramas and romances, but for modern action movies that feature smart, elegant and sophisticated ladies - like Bond girls in the three Bondiana films: Diamonds Are Forever, Tomorrow Never Dies and World Is Not Enough.

High-End Luxury Grandfather Clocks: a Question of Time and Money

A grandfather or floor clock is a sign of wealth and prosperity. The traditional grandfather clock lends a weight of character to any common area of the home and is clearly so much more than just a timepiece. Grandfather clock is not a mere interior decoration piece, but a family heirloom. It looks good anywhere in your house - in the living room and or in the bedroom, in the office, and even in the kitchen or hall. The very concept of floor clock suggests that this is an attribute of luxury lifestyle, or at least something very close.

Julia Roberts: Money Makes Money

A few people know that Julia Roberts was literally programmed for commercial success. This is probably wouldn't do justice to the acting talents of the Hollywood diva, but Roberts' name is hardly associated with the prestigious awards she received such as the Golden Globe and Oscar. Apart from her roles and dazzling smile, she is known as one of the highest-paid actresses in the world, topping the Hollywood Reporter's annual power list of top-earning female stars from 2002 to 2006, and the first Hollywood actress to be paid $20 million for a movie. However, as it turns out even one of her first movies, «Pretty Woman», which brought Roberts fame and recognition, was initially called «$ 3000». Say what you like, but money makes money.

Retinoic Acid Peel

Wednesday, 31 March 2010

retinoic acid peelAt some point in their lives, all women start to care about the preservation of their youth and beauty, or finding the solution to eliminate skin problems they have. Owing to the recent developments in plastic surgery, many things are possible - you can not only get rid of the age signs on your face, but also completely change your appearance. There is a problem, however, as plastic surgery is not a solution for everyone, so we need alternative methods. Retinoic acid peel is one of the ways to look younger without resorting to invasive esthetic correction methods.

What is Retinoic Acid Peel?

Retinoic acid peel is a type of chemical peel using retinoic acid. Retinoic acid is derived from retinoids; which is denatured vitamin A. It is chemically similar to Retin-A and has a similar effect on fibroblasts, collagen-producing skin cells. Basically, retinoic acid peel is so effective that it stimulates active skin cells division. In addition, retinoic acid peel contributes to sealing moisture in the skin at the deepest level, stimulates collagen production and has an antiseptic effect, since retinoic acid inhibits the growth of various bacteria.

Retinoic acid peel is an effective skin rejuvenation method. The surface of the skin becomes smoother, even the deepest lines and wrinkles are less visible or totally eliminated. Moreover, this type of chemical peel is recommended to prevent malignant skin conditions.

Retinoic Acid Peel Procedure

Retinoic acid peel is a unique procedure, which is perfect both for young and ageing skin. This type of peel helps to restore the immune system, circulation and is beneficial for your overall health. Another significant advantage of retinoic acid peel is its relative painlessness. While many other types of peel require local anesthesia, this type of facial peel often requires only a mild anesthesia, although the doctor is not likely to put you totally under. Retinoic acid peel can be performed on the face, neck, sensitive cleavage area and hands. Retinoic acid peel is convenient because it requires no special preparation.

This type of facial peel is performed in the office of a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist or spa setting. This is a deeper peel than the beta acid peel and is used to remove scars as well as wrinkles, acne scars and pigmentation problems. It is usually performed in conjunction with a Jessner; which is performed right before, in order to open up the skin, so the retinoic can penetrate on a deeper level.

The client leaves with the chemical peel solution on their face. The peeling process takes place on the third day. So, they will basically look okay to go to work on the first two days and have to take only the third day off. In order to see real changes in the skin, it is necessary to have a series of these peels. To achieve a visible effect, it' recommended to have a retinoic acid peel done once in every three weeks for at least three times, i.e. the course of retinoic acid peels should last approximately for 6 weeks.

However, not everyone can have this procedure done as there are contraindications for retinoic acid peel. For example, these procedures can not be held concurrently with radiotherapy, they are contraindicated to those suffering from severe aspirin allergy. Herpes, rosacea, warts, pregnancy and lactation are also considered contraindications. Therefore, before choosing this type of peel it is recommended to see a beautician.

For those looking for an easy way to quickly get rid of pigmentation problems, smallpox or acne scars, and wrinkles, and improve overall skin appearance, retinoic acid peel will be an excellent choice.

However, unlike metrosexuals who blindly follow fashion trends, dandies are much more complex: they are trendsetters who can appreciate a stylish wardrobe, but at the same time bend the rules and conventions to suit their exquisite taste.
