 Scarification
(scarifico means scratching in Latin) is one of the extreme body-art techniques,
relatively recently practiced in Russia. Scarification came from Africa, the same
as tattoo and piercing do. And against our will we are forced to believe that

customs of ancient African tribes.

in Africa scarification was exclusively practiced to express a person's social status

The concave
scar (a notch like scar) is made by a surgical scalpel by cutting the top layer

Deep scars
are those remained from burns, and they are made by means of specific

only, and individually as a single decoration are not practiced.
