Lehenga Holds Indian Rich Tradition

Being ancient cloth of India, lehenga holds the country's tradition and supremacy in the line of women dress-up. In recent times, designer lehengas have snatched the hearts of modern women including Indian diaspora community around the world.

Women wherever they live around the India are crazy for the traditional outfit, lehenga cholis. It has been making demand over the decades since its appearance. Its exotic design has become globally renowned. Lehenga cholis became visible in India in the course of Mughal period (1576-1757). Women lived in Rajasthan state wore Lehenga at first and after that it extended widely throughout the India. 

Lehenga in fact incorporates a long skirt that goes up to the knee. It is usually seen loose and relaxing and is tied at the side of waist. And the 'choli' refers to a short fitted top with short sleeves worn at the upper part of body.
