Laser
resurfacing may be performed under the general anesthesia or by means of using soporific
embrocations that are applied to the skin area treated by laser. At the date of
the procedure performance it is recommended that the patient take the antiviral
and antibacterial medication. Post-operation recovery period lasts within 1 to
4 weeks and it greatly depends upon the depth of resurfacing and volume of
treated area, and individual capacities to heal, correct and accurate
observance of all recommendations of doctors. The compulsory condition for all
patients is use of special facilities to protect the skin from the sun, wind
and frost.
Laser face resurfacing
is contra-indicated if there are new skin rushes or inflammatory tissues, if
the skin is susceptible to slow wound healing, if the patient administered Accutane
medication within the last year, if the patient is inclined to keloids,
prolonged hyperpigmentation, erythema, hypopigmentation. Yet laser face resurfacing
in not performed for patients with inflamed inner organs, herpes, acute chronic
diseases, attack of infectious diseases until the patient is cured.

Sir,
I had undergone for full fasce laser (erabium) resurfacing for pox marks in july-08 ,about 40% improvement got. Now I would like second stage surgery partially on area below eye both side where some marks are still visible. Pl advice me is it possible to go for partial area of face or full face .
