In the 30s the French designer Paul Poiret released an autobiography called «King of Fashion». Years later the exhibition devoted to this celebrated designer of the early XX century was named the same. This exhibition is still current at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Igor Chapurin, 39, was involved in the world of fashion from a very tender age. He is widely known to open public for his Haute Couture «Russian straw». And apart from it he made popular Venetian fabric, Byzantine fanciful pattern and a color palette so individual to artistic traditions of the Russian vanguard. It seems like Chapurin inherited his passion to fashion. His grandfather was the first one to open Soviet textile factories on production of linen, his father reorganized sewing enterprises and his mother heads the large Russian knitting factory. Thus, the future profession was doomed for Igor Chapurin, as the garment designer and the fashion artist.

Pierre Balmain, the founder of the most famous Fashion House, was born on May 19, 1914 in the small town St. Jean de Maurienne in the Savoy Mountains of France.  His family owned a wholesale drapery business that was directly associated with the fashion industry: his father was a wholesale merchant of fabric, his aunts owned boutiques and his mother was a professional consultant on styles in fashion.

Prada is one of the most recognizable brands in the world that is known to almost everyone around the world. Prada is one of those brands that gets forged the most. Prada clothes are worn by celebrities, famous people and even by the Pope. The new Prada collections are desired and expected by everyone whether it is pop-stars, celebrities or other people. During his student life in Mumbai's Elphinstone College he got a few assignments relating to modeling that he completed successfully. Even though he felt interest in fashion design his father wished Manish to look after his business. Without paying heed to his father's advice he paid attention to create something on his own. 

A widely accepted name Tarun Tahiliani has created a special space in the fashion world by his clothing epitomizes designs, techniques, quality and sophistication. Crossing the national boundary, the Indian prominent fashion designer has reached around the globe while his fashionable works are found in big salons in different major cities. The couture fashion has come to the doorstep of Indian people by the hands of this innovative designer. Besides, Tarun Tahiliani's fashion apparel and sewing garments are very famous among the international celebrities.
