indian clothing Having a high spirits and vitality of cultural heritage, a unique way of clothing with various luxurious fashions, designs and embroidered apparel has been going on over the decades in India. Today, the attires crafted in India are being exposed to the most attractive and fascinating outfits of latest vogue across the world.  

Attires entail various facts:

Depending on seasonal variations, geographical locations, religious and cultural customs and even in colors, textures and styles, garments are classified into separate dresses worn by Indians that have been transforming from generation to generation.

Indian women clothing consisted of designer sarees, Salwar Kameez, Ghagra Choli, lengha, churidar along with innovative trendy garments such as tunics, skirts, shirts, pants, suits used as professional outfits highlights the wear splendor and grandeur. While traditional attires like kurtas, lungis, dhotis, pyjamas, Sherwanis, turbans are chosen by the Indian common people, urban men usually go with shirts, suits, trousers, pants, jeans, ties etc.

Ins and outs of outfits:

To name the most traditional clothing outfits in India are sarees made from fine cotton, silk or other fabrics while the long-established fashion items weaved in different designs, long strip of colorful multi-patterned cloths always attract the women bringing charms, elegance and beauty. Among the fashionable sarees, Chikan, Banarasi, Tant, Gadwal are notable far-famed items to illustrate, while the color and the textural suitability could fluctuate with the age, status and region worn in every possible occasion.

The salwaar kameez, Salwars are like pants tightly fitted in the waist and the ankles, and an elongated as well as baggy tunic is known kameez, is the most ubiquitous of all traditional women attire in India that is called the Punjabi suit in Punjab region for its much popularity. It is the most preferable and favorite among the young generation as for its easy wear and adaptability for more occasions worn at home, formal and casual parties as well. Similarly, fashionable salwar kameez that designed beautiful with embroidery and varied eye pleasing patterns are in fact superb.

Besides, women select churidar, a type of trouser fitted tightly at the portions like hips, thighs and ankles instead of salwar and sometimes a collarless or mandarin-collar tunic called a kurta.

Lehenga, also known as Ghagra Choli is the eye striking ethnic Indian women attire worn by the women living in Gujarat and Rajasthan which are most popular as bridal attires in the urban parts of India.

Sharara, like a pant fitted till the knee with a big flare from the knee onwards is well known to the Muslim ladies. This item comprised of a long flowing skirt, a blouse or choli and a dupatta for covering the head.

Worn as a symbol of modesty, dupatta, a long rectangular, scarf-like cloth is very familiar to all over the Indian society that is made from various fabrics, like cotton, silk, georgette, chiffon etc.

For the men, on the other hand, kurta (like a loose long shirt almost reaching the knees), pajama (a lightweight drawstring trouser), dhoti, lungi (a garment worn around the waist) are the traditional attires worn on both formal and informal occasions. Similarly, Sherwani (an immaculately designed coat with a close body fit fastened in the front with buttons) is supposed to be for wedding and party attire worn over a kurta and a churidar, or khara pajama or a salwar.

Moreover, bearing a cultural trademark, turban, a headdress consisting of long scarf-like single piece of cloth, donned around the head keeping up with a lot of dignity and honor.

Going with latest trends:

Indian clothing holding exquisite embroidery, beadwork, and tie-dye fashions are transforming to the western style by hands of renowned designers in recent times while traditional sarees turn into Bollywood sarees with eye catching sophisticated layouts and designs.

The outfits have been changing just keeping pace with the arrival of modern, innovative and classy designs, colors, grandness, grace and elegance. Like other items, sarees have become available with glorious snazzy and classy styles including Prints with embroidery sarees, Printed chiffon sarees, Bangalore Silk Sarees.

Making a fashion statement, women in India put on stylish collections of salwars kameez tailored in accordance to their measurements in different parties. The party wears include Pink chanderi kurta with thread and zari embroidery, Off white voil cotton kurta salwar with matching embroidery, Maroon cotton gadhwal suit, Pink georgette kurta and churidar, Cream chanderi anarkali suit with georgette yoke along with zari work etc.

In the line of salwar suits, Fetching Multihued Salwar Suit features trendy look covered the upper part of the dress in blue and burgundy made attractive with sequins, zari and resham embroidery work in floral designs. The sleeves take in olive green with foil print work on it while hemline and sleeve ends show deep red color printed frill edging.
